The Story Behind 108

It all started with a spreadsheet, a coaching role, and a deep love for the game.

For over a decade, Josh Shore (founder of 108 Logistics) coached high school and select baseball, dedicating himself not just to player development, but to supporting entire teams—players, parents, and staff alike. When no one else was handling logistics, he stepped in. From travel coordination and hotel bookings to parent communication and last-minute schedule changes, Josh made it all work—because he cared deeply.

About the experience.
With 35 years of playing and 10+ years coaching, backed by a 20-year career in finance, retail operations, and people management, Josh naturally brought clarity and structure to the chaos. When the club he coached for decided to cut ties with a logistics provider that fell well short of the core values 108 was built from, they asked him to build something better. And he did—from scratch. Budgets, balance sheets, timelines, team portals, reporting systems—everything teams needed but didn’t have.

That’s how 108 Logistics was born—named after the 108 stitches on a baseball, and grounded in the belief that behind every great team is a system that supports them.

Josh’s goal was simple: take the burden off parents and coaches so they can focus on the game—and give players the smooth, professional experience they deserve.
